Dr. Noora Al-Sahlawi: Legislative Reform Is Essential to Combat Cybercrime

Dr. Noora Al-Sahlawi, Lecturer in Criminal Law at the College of Law, Qatar University, and a researcher in International Criminal Law in the United States, stated that cyberattacks have become comparable to conventional military operations and acts of terrorism in terms of their ability to achieve strategic objectives. She explained that their danger lies in the ease with which they can be carried out and the substantial losses they inflict, whether economic, security-related, or informational.
